The stages of grief are: denial, anger, bargaining, depression, acceptance. Not everyone will go through all these stages; they may not go through them in the above order; there may be several emotions involved; some people may go through one stage only to return to it later. There is no set pattern except that grief is real, important and must be dealt with.
