==== Body Language

MEANING: The nonverbal information a body communicates by the way it moves or arranges itself.

RELEVANCE TO ABUSE: Body language can be a major component of abuse. Abusers might say verbally, "I love you." and yet their bodies send off signals of rejection. Most of us understand body language intuitively. When you pay attention, you may discover why you felt you were getting mixed messages from an abuser, for example.
